This is a pretty good work out for beginners, advanced yoga-ers will probably be bored with it. I love how he makes the focus breathing, that's always something I have trouble with when I work out, especially with yoga/pilates. The reminders to breathe aren't too annoying either. I would definitely recommend for the beginner-intermediate levels. :)

This was by far one of the best yoga workouts I've ever had. I love that they have a 45 minute workout and a 25 minute one. Typically yoga DVDs only have one long workout. The 2 different routines are awesome depending on how much time you have and they both offer a great workout that is relaxing at the same time!

I got this at the new stadium - it's awesome! Now I understand how the girls stay in such great shape! These yoga workouts are terrific. They're challenging, but the instructor walks you through each position and helps make them easy to learn. It's also cool to feel like you're working out with the cheerleaders. The shorter routine is perfect to do before work in the morning. I can't wait to try their Dance & Boot Camp videos!

The two yoga workouts on this DVD are good, but pretty basic. I like Kurt Johnson's instruction but some of the flow from pose to pose felt a little awkward. There are two routines, one 25 minute and one 45 minute. I would have liked a full 30 minute routine and an hour long routine. The two routines felt very similar and I would have liked a little more variety between the two. Overall a decent DVD for the money.

I wasn't sure about this one so tried on Netflix first, but was pleasantly surprised. There are 2 practices on the disc, 1 25-minute and 1 45-minute. Both are good basic flow yoga workouts that really focus on breathing and improving strength/flexibility. I like that the instructor is not performing the yoga, I believe that it feels more like a class that way than a practice, and I like the way he starts with the easiest pose and then explains other variations in order of difficulty. He is also very easy to follow verbally, after the first couple times doing the workout I started looking at the screen very little. The 45 minute practice flies by, and normally I get pretty bored during yoga, so I definitely recommend! Only down side is sometimes the camera can be a little wobbly, which can be disorienting when you watch it, and some people would probably think he talks too constantly, but I like the continual verbal cues and encouragement.

This is a great yoga DVD. I think the 25 minute practice is easier than the 45 minute one so I do the 45 minute one more often. The workout really is about 40 minutes with the last minutes for meditation. The instructor is male and walks around throughout the DVD instructing the "cheerleader" participants. He starts with a brush fire warm-up. Then he goest to a yoga squat. Then he starts the standing flow poses. After the standing poses are the floor work which seems mroe brief. Poses included include warrior 1, warrior 2, reverse warrior, triangle, pigeon, airplane, cobblers, downward facing dog, upward facing dog, cat/cow, bow, boat, bridge, wheel, plank, reversed inclined plane, dolphin, warrior 1/chair with twist. There is no chanting but he does interject positive thoughts ,for example, how,"you can take this ability to move throw the challenges of your life with you." Poses not included include: warrior 3,pose of the dancer, balancing stick, revolved triangle, and crow. Overall highly recommended!

This video was great, I am a beginner at yoga and I felt the burn the first time I did this video. Its a nice video to start out with, especially for muscle building, and for pose basics and getting your form correct before you try any other sort of yoga such as vinyasa, or any type of inversions.
