This dvd is probrably the best of the 3.The whole dvd takes place on the field of the texas stadium.There are about 6 or 7 cheerleaders on the field.The workout outs are in 2 sections the low impact and high impact.The workouts really do work I did feel my lower body my legs ache for 3 days.But you may want to rewind the video about 4 times if you really want to work out a certain exercise to get maximum results.You do feel like you are really in a workout session with the cheerleaders,but can feel like your in a high school gym class.Jay does talk alot of talking in between the exercises sometimes too much,but you do have time to catch your breath.if you have knee problems you may want to be careful,there are alot of squats and he tells you to get lowwww.There is a 5 minute ab blaster workout but some of the moves are for advanced like the cheerleader who is showing them,who probrably has been doing these exercises all her life so she's very core strong.There is a breakdown of all the exercise moves he shows you how to do them so you don't feel lost when you workout with the cheerleaders.

This DVD is absolutely NOT for lazy people. This workout is for people who actually want to get up and work out. Jay Johnson is funny, and makes you want to keep going. I did this on Exercise.Tv for free first, and it was so much fun that I bought it.You can feel the burn while doing the moves, and in the morning you can feel you worked your body well! It is a tough workout, and the high impact will whip you into better shape. I am already seeing that my stomach is flatter, and I have more upper body strength. I've had this DVD for three weeks, and I do it five days a week combined with additional cardio. I am reccomending this to all my friends. Like Jay Johnson says in the DVD: "burn that bridge back to fat land!"

I'm really liking this video! I've been alternating it with the yoga one for the past 2 weeks and am really happy with the way I feel and look already! I watched the position breakdowns before I did the workouts and that was really helpful. At first some of the moves seemed easy, but I was definitely sore for several days after the first workout. I also like the idea that I'll be able to build up to the high impact workout! Overall - I love the CMT show, and I'm so glad the Cheerleaders finally have a fitness series! RECOMMENDED!

I love love love love this workout. It works your...well pretty much everything. I feel it every single time I workout. If you want to get toned in a short time, this is the workout for you. If you like the whole boot camp thing, which I do, this is the workout for you. Plus the Dallas Cowboys are the highest standard in athletisism for women who don't want to be bulky. Jay makes it fun. Yes he works you out but EVERYTHING he says is true. You only have one body. You gotta take care of it. If YOU don't NO ONE else WILL. Plus adding cardio 5 days a week to the 3 or 4 days a week you do DCC Boot Camp, you'll see results in no time!!! MAJOR PROPS TO JAY AND THE DCC!!!!!!

Good "In between" workout,

I like this workout. I wish there was a little more cardio, but I guess I get that at hockey practice and dry-lands. I use this on days when I don't have practice, I usually do about 30 minutes of cardio and then do this workout. I agree that there isn't a lot of instruction so it could be a little tough for beginners in that respect, but just rewind it a time or two and you'll have it ;). I was definitely sore after I did this, one "session" wasn't enough for me so I did both, the low and "high impact" (if that's what you want to call it) the high impact session just has more exercises and some "may" be a higher level for some people.All in all though, not a bad $10 investment.

i bought this dvd to shed some baby weight after a 2yr old an a 9mth old flab is definatly what i have! i used the 7min workout an i felt it immiediataly work! if you want a workout thats going to tone an make you feel better this is the one! i have tried alot of workouts an i dont have time to go to the gym or see a personal trainer! this dvd works! if you use it everyday you will lose weight! i love the ab an arm assault parts of this dvd they are great an def work! if you are a mom who needs a great workout plan when the kids take a nap this is the one! only a few minutes an you can tell it works!

Bought the DVD online after doing the condensed free workout from Comcast's OnDemand menu. Totally love this DVD! My roommates and I use it all the time, I really like how they separate the low impact and high impact workouts, and the options to customize your workout. It's great because you can select the areas that you are interested in working out or select your routines based on how much time you have. Don't worry if you're a beginner or buff and tone already, they show three different levels of intensity for each move, so it's perfect for everyone. Plus the DVD has a ton of extra work outs and bonus features too! Definitely recommend this DVD :)

I do love this workout! It is a great program that takes about 45 minutes, and I can do when I don't feel like getting out to the gym.I have danced most of my life so most of the exercises in the low-impact workout I am already familiar with, but the repetition is wonderful, and I am just a little sore the next day every time I do the low-impact workout. The high-impact workout is a different story. I have done it once since I have had the DVD and could hardly walk the next day!! This coming from a dancer who is in pretty good shape. The high-impact workout is mostly squats. As soon as I recover from the last time I did it, I will be doing it again because it feels great and is so good for you! There is an additional workout for both arms and abs. Each set has Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders demonstrating. Three of the cheerleaders have been selected to perform beginner, intermediate, and advanced exercises, so you can choose which one you want to follow. The only thing I don't care much for is that the coach who leads the workout talks a lot. He is very motivational, though, and especially people who are not very familiar with or motivated to workout I think would really benefit from that. I was hesitant to buy a workout DVD because of previous disappointment with them and lack of motivation to do them more than a few times, but this DVD is an exception.It is very fun, takes less than an hour out of my day, and I can choose exactly how intense or easy I want to take it from day to day. Highly recommended!!

Im in the military so I doubted the intensity of a cheerleader workout.I was so wrong. I had one of the best workouts,I was so suprised how hard it is. He works every muscle you have. I love that you can pick an area of the body that you want to work whether it be the legs,arms or ab's he has. I would recommend it to anyone who really wants to get back into shape.OH dont forget your cardio thats really important to.

I've always been a fan of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (who isn't??!) and my wifey was so excited that they finally came out with workuot videos, that I had to get her this. She was lookin for a solid at-home workout (had to cancel her gym membership) and this is really good value (Gotta admit, I've watched her do the workouts :P). She's been doing the video for 2 weeks and she's really into it. She's even been raving to all her girlfriends about how much fun she's havin getting good exercise.Guys, this is a good gift if your ladies are into getting into shape. |
