This is nice book on a good collection. The DMA is far from a great museum, but it does have some wonderful works. When i walk through it, I always think, what a big building for such a mediocre collection. This book is well done, the author is definitely familiar with the DMA and the text and images attest to that fact...I definitely recommend it..oh and the Nasher Sculpture Garden next door is not just a great building, its a great collection as well...if you have to chose between the DMA or the Nasher..make no mistake..pick the Nasher...
