Satisfied April 20, 2011

Seeing as no one else has really posted on what each size equates to I figured I could give a review of the Large.

Height: 72 inches (1.82m)
Build: Athletic (180lbs)

Fit: Arm and Leg guards Fit snugly till the knee and elbow. Thigh guards are a little tight (elastic should stretch out eventually) and the waist could use more room for adjustment without having to take out all the slack (smaller buckles maybe). Chest plate fits well down low but could use a point of adjustment near the shoulders.

Pros: Lightweight, Modular, Velcro straps and buckles for easy donning and removing of the suit.

Cons: Elbow join is a little stiff due to a section of padding the connects the elbow pad to the forearm guard. The Velcro that secures the knee portion of the leg is extremely loose, which isn't really a problem but somewhat annoying.

Overall: Satisfied. If your about my size it will fit nicely, the chest even more so if you plan on adding ballistic protection underneath.

After my last incident at my local Mall, I thought it is essential I purchase the FX1 full body shell. With this mama I can bulldoze at will.

After the last infestation of 'Uber' Zombie hordes and in particular my last encounter with the unsightly undead army at my local Mall; whom out of nowhere sprung an attack on me as I went to grab a crate of Budweiser from the Grocery Store. Those damn pesky Zombies nearly pulled my arm out of it's darn socket and I managed to escape with a few cuts and bruises, thankfully I wasn't bitten or it would have been over.

This time round I purchased the FX1 flexforce, now with this Mama I can mow down those Zombies like a knife to butter. With my frag grenades, M16 and a man's newest best friend the trustee AA-12 you can be rest assured of a good nights sleep. The FX1 does require some getting use to, but a few days in the field and it'll feel just fine. I must say that after a few weeks in this baby, it does make you feel more manly; however, I'm not sure how much more of a man it can make you, once you don a grenade belt around your waist.

I modified my FX1 with extra pockets for my ammunition as once your in the field fending off the army of the undead, extra ammunition is a must.

My last encounter just occurred 2 weeks ago, when I was driving down the boulevard and bam!!! fifty zombies pulled out of an alleyway and jumped on my car, quick reflexes allowed me to drive my car into a electric pylon, hoping that had done the job and toasted those zombies to a crisp. But, you know zombies they stood up again with hunger on there minds, but with the trustee FX1 and my AA-12 I made sure they wont be bothering anyone again. But then out of the ashes and dust came an uber zombie it had some how mutated from a hybrid Gorilla/Sloth (Don't ask me how it ever happened, the whole zombie infestation story is still perplexing). It looked like it was game over for me, but then I realised something; due to the fact it had certain features of a sloth, it actually moved like a sloth as well. Slow as a snail... I reloaded and churned out 40 rounds of the AA-12 and a dozen elbows, kicks and punches and that beast was pretty much pulp at the end of it. I laughed in the face of adversity, but I viewed it as a job well done.

lets be real.., the FX1 truly came into it's own in that battle, I could fend off those zombies and the damn hybrid with ease and there punches and bites failed to cause any type of damage to the FX1. I may just wear this baby at my friends wedding as a Best mans outfit, the ladies will dig it and what woman doesn't fancy a man who don's a greande belt (with HE and illumination rounds). I'm also thinking of buying another specifically modified for Covert zombie missions.

Some people may think your crazy while prowling the streets of LA dressed like your on some high profile covert military operation, but wtf you feel good and look the part.

Do you really believe you need an FX1, damn right you do. Don't go out to your local Mall without wearing a FX1 FlexForce, it's the Zombie hunting kit of choice...!

I'll keep this short since others have already provided decent reviews of the efficacy of this system against humans. I bought this for late night forays through the local zoo. For the most part, the animals didn't pay attention to me when I wore the Damascus FX1. Then I smeared turkey hot dogs over the entire surface and good lord, did that make a difference.

I was able to get through the lion pen with just a few scratches. The lions definitely can put the hurt on you when they smack you with their paws. The system absorbs the impact fairly well, though I have to admit that I lost consciousness a few times (I still think that it may have been the double dose of ecstasy I took).

Test 2 was the monkey house. Who knew they liked turkey hot dogs? I didn't, but by gosh, they set upon me like, well, I'm not sure. They pretty much beat me senseless, but again, I was able to crawl out on my own power thanks to the Damascus FX1.

The reason I give this three rather than five stars is test 3, the alligator pit. I know that this is a family site so I'll keep it clean and short. The crotch protection on this system is not up to the ridiculous crushing pressure of an alligator's jaws, let alone three alligators' jaws.
