I am not active duty or do use these daily in a LE setting. However, I do enjoy shooting and appreciate quality gloves wherever I can find them. I love gloves and enjoy trying different pairs and when I can afford it, I like to pick up a new pair and use them until I wear them out or they fall out of favor with me.
Parameters of my review
I like to consider as many factors as possible when reviewing gloves. Given the broad audience that Amazon brings in, there may be Mil, LE, Airsofters or other sorts of weekend warriors, or regular guys in the mix. Below I talk about dexterity, knuckle protection, flexibility, build quality, fit, endurance of the product, the cool factor, alternatives, and of course price vs value.
Whenever I test a glove, I always like to try a number of dexterity tests to see how easy it is to continue to function while using the glove. In my mind, the utility of a glove can be diminished if you have to remove it to perform ordinary tasks. While that is not always the case, I like to try some different things to see how easily I can function with the glove.
1. Pick up a penny off the ground test:
I wasn't able to do this with this pair of gloves.
2. Take my wallet out of my front pocket:
It takes much more effort than one might expect
3. Unlock my front door:
I was able to do this without too much trouble. The difficulty was with isolating my house key from the others.
4. Tap, Rack, Bang:
I can load, rack a slide and change mags with relative ease in an AR and pistol.
These gloves offer no additional protection for your knuckles besides the additional fabric that is used to offer warmth.Read more ›
If you look at your hand where the palm ends and the fingers begin, around the circumference of that part of the palm is very tight, and not at all stretchy. I can barely separate my fingers with them on. This also makes it hard to make a fist, and further hard to grip things, which is half the reason I bought gloves. The fingers are actually a good length for me, but the finger tips are HUGE. They're so big I have a hard time getting my finger into a 1911 style trigger guard without them getting caught. The wrist closure is also huge. The combination of too much material at the fingertips and lack of compliance around the palm make these gloves pretty useless for me. My dexterity is awful with them on. The materials seem pretty good though, and the stitching seems solid. The color/camo is a pretty close match my Multicam. I really did have high hopes for these but they didn't work for me, I returned them. Maybe they will work for you.
Construction and material durability seem good. (Untested, but they look and feel pretty tough).
Poor Design, weird dimensions, no stretch, poor flexibility, bulky, poor dexterity.
Fit is a very personal thing, and in this case, I STRONGLY urge you to try these on before you buy them; they've got the weirdest fit of any glove I've tried. Ever.

Great gloves. Lasted me all through a 9 month deployment in Afghanistan. I'm infantry so I actually work too. Didnt get a hole in them until back in the states.Published 3 months ago by James
This glove is alright but not great. I bought three different types of gloves to decide what I liked the best for general mechanic work. Read morePublished 20 months ago by Roem

These gloves fit and feel great. They are built tough and have lots of great features. I will buy more of them without a second thought.Published on December 30, 2013 by Jerry Foster
These are decent for cheap gloves. They are a bit narrow across the palms, so you may want to consider sizing up. Read morePublished on November 19, 2013 by butterscottz
Comfort, quality and durability!! They feel great when you put them on. The dexterity has few restraints for how much protection they offer! Great gloves!Published on June 25, 2013 by Multicamed Out
They must of modeled a gorilla for the fitting of these. The thumb is almost as long as the index finger and there is almost enough extra multicam cloth on the back to make another... Read morePublished on May 9, 2013 by DisableVeteran
Water resistant, sturdy and comfortable. Only complaint would be that they turned out a little bigger than many other gloves I have in the same size. Read morePublished on April 17, 2013 by Alexander
