Other then the knife having no edge and a small nick on the edge, its a well made knife. It is very nice looking stag handle and blade. As long as you know how to sharpen a knife and have proper stones with patience you will love it.
I plan to use it as a working hunting knife+, I find damascus steel better then production line knives when you use knives alot.

I was looking for a damascus blade, but didn't have a lot of cash.I was worried that I would get riped-off if I paid too little for a knife that sounded too good for the price!!! I have to say, I was not disappointed at all. The knife came in just 3 days. It was in great shape, no cracks in the finely shaped stag handle. All parts are well put together, and the very sharp beautifully designed damascus blade leaves me in awe every time I take it out to look at! The high quality leather sheath was a little dry but a bit of conditioner was all that was needed. I own Swords, Switchblades, Tantos,Military, Well you get the picture I love bladed weapons. This knife will be one of my favorites.

Hi, I've had this knife in my possesion for twelve hours now. I purchased it because I wanted my first damascus steel blade and right now I'm really favoring stag for handle material. This knife is right on with that fulfilment. The damascus blade has a very attractive pattern and really stands out (deeply etched). The blade is a very thick piece of steel, in the genre of machete steel not folding pocket knife steel. You will need to sharpen the blade, once you do it will cut right through small branches, shred t-shirts and slice paper cleanly. The overall assembly of this knife is solid. The handle spacer that appears to be blood turquoise and bone is made from plastic (acceptable in my opinion). The leather sheath is suitable. I've rubbed some leather conditioner on the sheath and the brass closure snap cleaned up nicely which pleases me. I rubbed carnuba wax onto the stag handle and then buffed it with the Dremel.... which really brought out the "grain" and gave the handle a very nice lustre without sacrificing the natural texture.
