deceptive price,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Damp Rid Hanging Closet Fresheners, 3-Count Package (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
I agreed with several other '1-star' reviews. Buyers be aware that the description and the pricing of this product are misleading. I am a regular user of this product but I typically buy them in retail stores and pay about $8-10 per box (a box has 3 packs). In the case of Amazon, the description of the pricing and discount led me to believe I am getting 3 boxes totaling 9 packs (3x3), however, I only received 1 box! The pricing is a lot higher than what I usually pay and I felt deceived by the seller. This is the very first and the only poor experience I have had with Amazon. I am surprised to see that this product is still being sold under the same but misleading information.

all right by me !!!,
By Matthew G. Sherwin (last seen screaming at Amazon customer service) - See all my reviews (TOP 100 REVIEWER) (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE) It's very easy to use this--it's child's play. Just open the box, remove one of the three packs of Damp Rid and hang it in the closet where you need to have the bad odor removed. It right away struck me with a strong baby powder type of smell but fortunately I like the smell of baby powder. It hangs on a plastic hanger that comes attached to it and when the white crystals inside the bag stop being white you just throw it away and use a new one as a replacement. I am very impressed with this product. I've only had it a couple of days not but it made a huge difference in the smell of the closet right away. Closets, of course, have little or no ventilation so any musty smell will just stay there. If you have anything like a hot water heater or anything flammable in your closet I would use Damp Rid instead of an air freshener which itself might also be flammable. The package has three bags each lasting about 60 days. That's a six month supply and I'm very pleased. The cost is well worth it. Of course, this can be used in other areas just as Amazon notes; garages, bathrooms, laundry rooms and more. Although they say it's septic safe I would dispose of these in the garbage; I certainly wouldn't put this down into any septic system. In addition, this product has a strong scent. If you are allergic to scents you may need to choose another product. Overall, this is one awesome product. I highly recommend Damp Rid for neutralizing bad odors in closets and more and replacing them with a baby powder smell.

Product really works!,
By MommaMotorBiker (Texas) - See all my reviews Anyway, I buy these things religiously to keep our clothes, leather coats, shoes, and closets in general, fresh and dry. They really make a difference and you can visually see how much water is being pulled out of the air. These packets hang up like a hanger and are self enclosed. They can't accidentally knock over like the Damp Rid buckets can. Once the moisture is absorbed in, it's "locked" in. (The bags are quite durable, but they *can* be punctured.) And they easily function in these small spaces, where an electric dehumidifier can't reach or it's just not feasible to consider a Damp Rid bucket.
