A Kid's Review
This review is from: Dan Gable's Wrestling Essentials: Top Position [VHS] (VHS Tape)
If you are looking for a video to help you suceed in wrestling mentally and physically, this is the video you defintely want to get. This video help me to be successful in my first year on being varsity. They made me captain of my high school wrstling team as a sophmore! So if anyone should know that it would help it would be me. Dan Gable details every move slowly for the slower people, such as my self. They show a variety of moves that most high schools wouldn't know about. This video is worth every penny , especially if you buy the video from Amazon. So for all you beginning or experienced wrestler, this will definitely help you in many ways.

Wrestling Essentials- Top Position,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dan Gable's Wrestling Essentials: Top Position DVD (DVD)
A review of the essential movements leading to pinning situations.Arm control is presented, but the use of legs is particularly stressed. Both the Jam and Flow, then the Jam and Control chapters present jamming action through ankle grabbing and leg attack; ankle hooking; leg in, tight waist, and chop attacks. Then follow hip, switch, and circle drills.
The two start positions are briefly presented, and the Finish chapter's biggest example is the craddle finish, formerly presented in the Jam and Control chapter. |
