Best Total Gym Video I've Seen,
By Autumn "Autumn" (Akron, OH USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dan Isaacson's Body Makeover Video (Misc.)
I have the beginner video that comes with the Total Gym 1500, and a DVD collection that includes "The Body You've Always Wanted" (a beginner program), "John Carleo's 6-8 Min. Workout", and "Dan Isaacson's Body Makeover for Total Gym". Dan Isaascon's program is the only one that has both a 'step-by-step' runthrough of all of the exercises of his program as well as a full runthough that you can exercise with. The other three programs are just a quick runthrough that you have to get up and pause after every exercise to get your 15-25 reps in. I do a moderate aerobic program several times a week, and after ONE time of doing Dan Isaacson's Body Makeover program, I feel energized. This program uses every major muscle group and easy to follow!

Female perspective,

This review is from: Dan Isaacson's Body Makeover Video (Misc.)
I think many of the exercises on this video are really tough for women...they require upper body strength to keep the flow smooth and to keep the rhythm. I wish there was a version more geared for women. I will use the video though. I like the run thru he does first.

pretty good workout,

I'd consider myself in decent shape. I felt like this workout gave me a pretty good workout that I could keep making harder by changing the board angle or using the resistance bands. Like any video, it will get boring if you watch it over and over, but the exercieses and the sequence is good.
