I bought these boots about 2 years ago. Since that time these boots have taken a beating and I still get compliments on them. The older and more use they get, the more attractive they, apparently, become. I get asked quite often where I got them and what they cost. The claim of being "waterproof" is not a tall tale, but is very true. They also repell oil & fuel well. The soles, as well as the rest of the boot, are very durable. After 2 years of hard wear, I'm having the soles & heels (just the slip-proof rubber) replaced. That's a whole lot better than replacing the entire boots! At the time I bought the boots, they were called "John Deere". But the Dan Post Waterproof boots are identical in every respect. I just ordered the same boots (size 12 D) for my son's 25th B-day! My daughter wants a pair for X-mas! They've been jealous since the day I got these ;-) These boots earn a #10 rating in my humble opinion.

great wearing and feeling pair of boots i put em on at 630 am and they dont come off before 8 or 9 pm excellent durability and style like that theyre waterproof it snowed and iced here recently so that came in extra handy, nice color, would definately reccommend to anyone

Great looking boot,I've recieved lots of compliments. they run a little narrower than I expected,but with a little time wore in to be very comfortable

Dan Post is a great cowboy company. These boots look and fit great. I really needed waterproof.

My grandson wanted boots for Christmas. He didn't want boots with ornate stitching, nor work boots, nor dress boots, nor snow boots. He just wanted plain black boots. He's in the size between boys' and men's. Finding plain black boots in his size was a challenge. There were few styles to choose from in size 6 1/2, and what I did find were all brown. I finally found these boots in size 7 and ordered them. I didn't know what to expect but what I got was an absolutely beautiful pair of well-made and sturdy boots that my grandson loves. He put them on Christmas morning and my son says he can hardly get them off his feet. The heel, stiching, leather, and style are all very attractive, and the price was great. He will have to stuff something in the toe until his foot grows a bit longer but I gave him the boots he "had been asking for for a loooong time" and it made me very happy.
