My husband and I are in the saddle 6 days a week, and we love these socks! I have a pair that is about 4 years old and they still stay up in my boots. They wear great,wash great,and really hold up. Well worth the money!!

I bought six pairs of these socks about 18 months ago... I'm on my feet alot, with alot of walking on concrete floors. I just bought more because I'm starting to wear the bottoms out, but they still don't fall down over my calves... only socks I'll ever wear while wearing boots.

Excellent product. A little snug on the first wearing but after a brief break-in period these are superb! I wear these with all my boots and never have had a sock fall down...love them. Recommended.

I put these socks on at 11:00am this morning and as of 6:00pm, I have not yet had to pull them up. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is that they are so expensive.

These are very nice, comfortable socks which give support in the arch, the ankle and calf. They are medium weight, good for hiking boots, but unfortunately, I can't wear them with cowboy boots, as they are too bulky for that. I'm sure I'll get good use out of them in other shoes, however.

Bought these socks a couple of months ago.

Pros: They do not slide down in your boot at all. The top of the socks end at the top of my calf and stay up well.

Cons: These socks are thick! They cramp my foot in the boot and I have a very hard time putting my boots on and taking them off. The socks keep my feet extremely warm and sweaty.

I ended up going to Target and buying some cheap nylon socks that work very well.

It is really annoying to repeatedly have to pull socks up that slip down to your ankles. Over the calf socks are supposed to stay over the calf the calf. I have had these socks for three months now and they don't slip! I received these socks in a very timeley manner (3 days). If you have not tried them, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. There is an eleastic band that goes all the way around the foot (just above the toes), another elastic band that goes all the way around the ankles and a third elastic band at the top of the sock. This configuration helps keep the socks securely in position.

I saw reviews on other web sites that favored Dan Post Cowboy Certified over-the-calf boot socks more than 50 to 1 over other brands. These socks truly are the best socks for boots I have ever put on - and not just cowboy boots, but any boot with a tall shaft. They can be worn comfortably all day, don't sag down, and do a superb job keeping my foot dry. My naked foot is exactly 11 inches long, and usually socks are either too small and cramp my toes, or too big and have the heel around my ankle. But these Dan Post medium (10-1/2 to 13) fit me perfectly.

I was a little worried that being so long they might be hard to put on, but I found that easy - just skootch them all on the front of the foot, then over the heel in a bunch or two, and pull them up over the calf. Also easy to take off.
