I received this delivery extremely quickly and immediately set up the machine. All I had to do was click on the wheels, plug it in and it worked. It hasn't been that humid yet, so it took about 5 days to fill up the reservoir. It doesn't strike me as being too loud (as I read in other reviews) and the air it puts out is warm, but not hot. I really like this machine. Extremely pleased with the purchase.

Bought this dehumidifier in June after my last one (different brand) died after only two seasons. So far the Danby is performing well. I use it in my unfinished basement and it is efficient, easy to use and fairly quiet. It was a wet summer so it was in constant use and it did the job. Thus far, I'm pleased with my purchase. It was also delivered in a timely manner. Only giving it 4 stars because it's the first season. If it continues to perform well the next few seasons, then it will deserve 5 stars.
