Very Disappointed. September 5, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase
The item arrived on time, but it was delivered on its side, when the box clearly stated to keep it on its end. All parts were there. When I plugged it in the first time, the digital display failed to work properly. It would turn on, but the temp. reading was never correct, and the humidity level never changed. I have used it on and off throughout the summer. It has managed to extract approximately 1/4 cup of liquid from my laundry room over a period of months.

Of course, there are no geographically close repair areas. I was very excited about the product and all it's positive reviews on Amazon, but knowing what I know now, I would have bought from a local store, insuring a USEFUL warranty with easy return and repair or replacement.

Do not buy March 22, 2012
By All Wet
Bought this model May 2011, now March 2012 and it won't take the moisture out of the air. Repair places listed on-line and provided by customer service (at the 800 #) quit servicing them because of poor service with Danby themselves. Wait time to call the 800 # is approximately 15-20 minutes, so be prepared! I would rate it a zero, if it was available!
