In this "Dear Barbie" picture-book adventure, Barbie receives a letter from a young ballerina who hasn't won the big role she wanted in a dance recital. To reassure the young letter writer, Barbie relates the story of her sister Skipper's similar disappointment a year earlier. When Skipper didn't win the part of the Lilac Fairy and was asked to be a lady-in-waiting in the school ballet instead, Skipper was ready to quit. Patiently and lovingly, Barbie slowly reassures her sister. As she points out, every dancer begins as a beginner -- and that every part matters in every ballet.

I think this book was OK. I personally think that Barbie sholdn't be so perfect. I have to admit that the illistrations were pretty good.
