About the Author
L. L. Young, a native Texan, gained most of her original writing experience while a practicing nurse. Although no longer a member of the medical community, she often uses her experiences and contacts in her present writing endeavors. Being a lifelong mystery buff, she was naturally drawn to the craft of mystery writing when she began her fiction writing career.
Starting with the Houston Police Department in June of 1971, R. G. Hickman served in a variety of assignments to obtain a broad range of law enforcement experience. He joined the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office in 1983. As Assistant Chief, he remains with Precinct 4 today. Chief Hickman recently became the Constable-elect for that precinct, and will take office in January of 2001.
