4.0 out of 5 stars FEMALES DOING THEIR THING
"I Wanna Let Go", best dance song I have heard in a long time. If that song doesn't make you get up and dance, then you are dead. "Burn With Desire" is a nice follow to that song as well. Of course you got the Queen of Dance Deborah Cox on here with her biggest hit ever as well. Some songs on here are too mainstream however and the mixes are not as impressive as other...

3.0 out of 5 stars The Heavy stuff is great...
This one of my favorite current dance CDs, along with mr.deviant's "Techno Obsession".
Dance Divas 2 brings more current tracks to the collection, unlike vol. 1 which contained a lot of stuff we've already heard before. I really dig the heavy stuff on this CD (I just love hardfloor and hard edge dance music, like mr.deviant's stuff), but the CD has too many...

Of course you got the Queen of Dance Deborah Cox on here with her biggest hit ever as well. Some songs on here are too mainstream however and the mixes are not as impressive as other Devito CD's. Tracks 2,3,4 make this cd worth it however, along with Cox's "Something Happened On the Way to Heaven".

The mixes are great - continual throughout the CD. High energy and good song choices. While none of the songs are bad, there are a couple I find myself skipping past. This is easily made up for the ones I can put on repeat and lift weights, run or drive too. Almost a perfect CD. Highly recommended for dance, vocal trance lovers.

5.0 out of 5 stars This CD grows on you!!!, August 11, 2005
This review is from: Dance Divas 2 (Audio CD)
When I first got this cd I wasn't sure if this cd was as good as I thought it would. But as I listened to it more and more it grew on me. Now the songs are embedded in my brain and I love the cd more and more. There are so many good songs. I particularly like:

3. I Wanna Let Go - Jillian
4. Burned With Desire - Armin Van Buuren feat. Justine Suissa
9. Love Me Right (Oh Shelia) - Angel City
12. Girlfriend (Vocal Mix) - Robbie Rivera Presents Keylime
19. Dance Divas II Mega Mix - Bad Boy Joe

Besides these songs this cd has other song that help make this cd great. The only 2 songs I wouldn't have on this cd would be track 1(Alone - Lasgo ) and track 16 (Never Leave You - Uh Ooh, Uh Oooh! (Club Mix) - Lumidee )

Dance Divas 2 brings more current tracks to the collection, unlike vol. 1 which contained a lot of stuff we've already heard before. I really dig the heavy stuff on this CD (I just love hardfloor and hard edge dance music, like mr.deviant's stuff), but the CD has too many light tracks to keep me from giving it a higher rating. Still worth the money, but should have been filled with 100% hardtracks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great Dance Divas CD, April 19, 2004
This review is from: Dance Divas 2 (Audio CD)
I really enjoyed the Dance Divas, I was expecting the same for this one. Louie DeVito did just that, the songs are great and easy to listen to. Unlike his other series like NYC Underground, this is series contains more vocal songs than pumping techno and trance. The songs are well mixed and keeps the music flowing. Even when I get back in the car and it resumed, it still gets my head bouncing with the music. There are a lot of songs that is very catchy such as "I Wanna Let Go" and "Too Late". There aren't a alot familiar songs in this album, which I think is about time that there are new songs. Don't get me wrong, I know that "Heaven" by DJ Sammy is a true classic, but it is really overplayed. If you looked in the cover, most of the songs are produced in 2003. "Alone", however, was created in 2001. Overall, if you like house music or even pop, this CD is for you. The serenity of "Burned with Desire" and "As The Rush Comes" will make you want to take flight. This CD is one of Louie Devito's best. Highly Recommended for the House Music lovers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Much Better, March 12, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Dance Divas 2 (Audio CD)
I may have to eat some crow today. When I last wrote I gave Louie quite the tongue lashing over NYC 6. I might have even said that his career is on it's way to being over. I think he may have proved me wrong with Dance Diva's #2. Dance Diva's #1 was not a favorite, just a little too singy for me, but on a whim I picked up #2 last night. What an improvement. The tracks were just the right mix of singing and beats. I'll admit that there were alot of familliar songs, but they were all fresh mixes and didn't end up sounding the same as the other cd's. I will buy DeVito's next venture, thanks to DD2. Let's hope I'm not dissapointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Decent, March 9, 2004
This review is from: Dance Divas 2 (Audio CD)
Louie makes another banging CD featuring some of the hottest tracks in the clubs. Some are old, some are new, but still hot and well mixed too. Favorite tracks "motorcycle-as the rush comes" and "becky baeling - getaway (mike rizzo remix)" job well done. his stock is rising once again.

3.0 out of 5 stars There's better out there....., April 28, 2004

After the last compilation of basically classic club hits that have already been on plenty of compilations previously, DeVito FINALLY decides to put together a mix of diva-led songs that are somewhat current. The only problem is that it just doesn't flow well....and the songs jump around from heavy to light to heavy again. Ultra Dance 5 is much better than this. Add a couple bucks to the $12 you were going to spend on this and go with Ultra Dance 5. You'll be glad you did.
