The Bright Shining Start of Klezmer Music,
By
This review is from: Dance of Joy (Audio CD)
Not being a music critic, I can only tell you how I feel about this album. Giora Fiedman's Dance of Joy was my introduction to klezmer music or, for that matter, Jewish music. I bought the tape in Paris when it first came out and I fell in love with every note he played. I love Klezmer music and have since listened to other popular klezmer groups and I have liked them, but for me Giora is still the bright shining star. He is my first love. He is to klezmer what Astor Piazzolla is to tango. This album, in particular, is special although I have others in my collection. It is still fresh and timeless. I have it in the tape version. I do not know the quality of the CD.

One of my alltime favorites,
This review is from: Dance of Joy (Audio CD)
There is not much to say about this album. I didnt know Klezmer before and I am far from being an expert now... this music just hit me like few music pieces ever before or after.. up to now I must have heard it more than a hundred times and still I wont get bored or tired of it..
