James Asher's Dance of the Light and Rivers of Life is uplifting and calming at the same time. I was surprised that it was a 2 disc set. It provides over 2 hours of strikingly lovely music.

This is my favorite new age CD. I listen to it over and over again and just never get tired of it for some reason. It reminds me of another long piece of music that I have that puts you into another world, especially the second song on the first CD, "The Ancient City". It's just perfect, sends you into such a peaceful lull without boring you to sleep since there are beautiful chimes in the background and synth music all keeping the melody goind like a stream cutting through a mountain valley.
I read my Star Wars books, Bible and Left Behind books to this music and I listen to it all the time when driving. Keeps me calm and happy at the same time. Just perfect and great, a new age Masterpiece, right up there with Yanni or Kitaro. |
