Debelah Morgan want's you to Dance With Her!, November 19, 2000
There are always albums with a few flop songs on them to fill them up or just because the artist think there good, but this CD has not one flop song. Debelah Morgan is an incredible singer, whom just like Christina Aguilera can do the Mariah's. There is something for everyone on this CD, there are great up tempo ballads, dance songs, and just pop songs with R&B and Salsa influences. This CD is so great I don't even have regret that down to one. There are no tracks on this CD were you go oh this song is cheap I'll just skip to the next track they are all good. The best thing about Debelah is that she writes her own song, which is a lot more than I can say for other singers. Track Review: 1.) Dance with Me: This is the great song that is playing all over the radio stations. The song is sexy and seductive, but yet you just have to dance to it. 2.) I Remember: This song is an up tempo ballad and it sounds really sweet. Debelah voice sounds so sweet. This is a total Love song but it has a great beat and the way Debelah uses her voice, you will want to listen to this song over and over again. 3.) Close To You: This beat is actually slow which is somewhat rare on this CD. But this song is a great ballad and the lyrics are very catchy. 4.) Let's Get it On: This song is greatly influenced with R&B flares. Once again the lyrics to this song are very sexy and seductive. This song is great to dance to, and the lyrics are very catchy even to first time listeners. 5.) I Can't Stop Loving You: This song leaves you dumbfounded since it starts off slow like a corny ballad but then reveals a great beat and great lyrics. The song is actually a fast song, its another great track to dance to. 6.) Take the Rain Away: This song has an old-school beat and it's yet another great track to dance to. If I had the power I would declare Debelah's Album the number one dance album of the year. 7.)What would you do: This song has a slow beat, but it's a great ballad like song. If I wasn't mistaken Debelah's voice almost sounds like that of Toni Braxton. 8.) Think of you (intro): This track is an intro repeating the lyrics to the next song in a more poetic way and in a sweet voice, yet the intro has the beat of a ballad that lead into my favorite song that is completely fast and great. 9.) Think Of You: This song is totally great, it has all the qualities of a number one hit. It has a great beat, catchy lyrics, sweet, sexy and seductive vocals. The background beat is that of a classical song that I can't figure out yet, however it was up tempoed with R&B flares. This is by fare my favorite song witch was hard to choose since all the song on this Album are great. I had to listen to the album about six times before I chose this song as my favorite. Some of the lyrics have urban referenced verses, listen to the song and you'll no what I mean. 10.) Baby I need Your Love: This song starts out slow but than the up-tempo R&B flares come into the picture. This is a great love song about some one being desperate, and what they would do for some one's love. 11.) Bring Back the Sun: This song has a slow beat but yet not to slow were you get board of it, this song is very romantic. 12.) Come and Danz: This track is like that of track one, the song is dedicated to that of dancing. This is a great Dance track just like "Dance with me," however they are completely different. 13.) Alright: This song is kind of slow, but when you listen to it you concentrate on solidly Debelah's voice. This is probably the slowest beat on the album, but the song is farley well, and strictly influences a gospel taste to it. 14.) Fall In Love Again (Bonus Track): This beat is pretty good and fast, and the lyrics are great, it is something that would want to make you dance, but a slow dance, nothing fast. Debelah is a great singer, you choose what your favorite track is they are all great, you will have just as much trouble as I did finding my favorite chance. This is the ultimate Dance CD, so go buy it and dance your heart out. Debelah has unusual beauty to her music that I have never felt when listening to other singers, her voice is so bewitching, you will fall in love with her voice before her image. I'll say it again Buy this CD, or it's your loss, because you're the one loosing out not me.

Amazing Effort - Pop At Its Best!!, August 16, 2000
Debelah Morgan is not yet a household name, but that may all change with her new music! This album is full of potential hits and features her beautiful voice and lyrics to perfection. What makes it even more impressive is the fact that, according to the liner notes, she had no record deal when she recorded it and she wrote and produced the entire album in her basement with her brother with no help from other writers or producers! These songs should have no problem competing with other pop music today and would sit nicely on radio playlists next to Christina Aguilera and Jessica Simpson. Debelah has a fresh sound and has a true talent for creating pop hooks that sink into your brain - you'll be singing right along! The first single "Dance With Me" has a clever tango hook that is cool. Other songs that I like from the first listen are "Let's Get It On" (not a remake of Marvin Gaye's) and "I Can't Stop Loving You" with their R&B edge that is in line with current sounds. Also "Come & Danz" is her answer to Aguilera's "Come On Over". With a vocal range that sets her apart from other current pop artists and rivals Mariah Carey, I think Debelah should go far with this album!

Debelah Should Be More Successful, July 3, 2003
I think Debelah Morgan is one of the best-kept secrets of today's music. She has an amazing voice and writes her own material. I think she should be far more successful than some of her pop/R&B contemporaries. She has the vocal range of Mariah Carey, the pop appeal of Christina Aguilera, and the soul of Toni Braxton, as is showcased on this album: 1. DANCE WITH ME - This infectious dance song was Debelah's only (minor) hit. The lyrics are catchy beyond belief, and the salsa-spiced beats are great. One of the best dance songs ever, in my opinion - 5/5 2. I REMEMBER - A sweet, Mariah-esque mid-tempo song. The lovey-dovey lyrics and mediocre production aren't my favorite on the disc, but Debelah's voice more than pulls them off as she demonstrates her stunning range - 5/5 3. CLOSE TO YOU - A gorgeous ballad that Debelah delivers with startling conviction and emotion. One of my favorites on this album, and a true classic love song - 5/5 4. LET'S GET IT ON - Another funky smash with sexy lyrics and an addictive chorus. This one is almost as danceable as #1, though it's definitely not one of my favorites. Sounds a bit too much like other R&B songs out there - 4/5 5. I CAN'T STOP LOVING YOU - This one is pure, smooth R&B with a hint of jazz. The piano opening also adds to its appeal. This one is mid-tempo with good lyrics, though the chorus can get a bit annoying - 5/5 6. TAKE THE RAIN AWAY - This song is probably the most poppy one on the record, though there are hints of Toni Braxton-like soul and even some disco. Still, it's a bit too bubblegum for my tastes - 4/5 7. WHAT WOULD YOU DO - My favorite song on the record. This ballad is along the same lines as #3, though these lyrics tell of a woman threatening to leave her man if he doesn't treat her better. Vocally, the best song on the album - 5/5 8. THINK OF YOU (intro) - Bah! I hate interludes! This accapella opening to the following track actually isn't half-bad, though - 4/5 9. THINK OF YOU - One of my least favorite songs. It has a cheesy melody and even cheesier lyrics. This one sounds as though she's trying to compete with the likes of Britney Spears, though it's a poor attempt - 3/5 10. BABY I NEED YOUR LOVE - A throbbing mid-tempo R&B jingle that will undoubtedly have you dancing to the urban-influenced melody and singing along to the almost disgustingly catchy lyrics - 5/5 11. BRING BACK THE SUN - Another ballad, though not as good as #'s 3 and 7. It still showcases her vocal range, though not as well as the two aforementioned ballads. I also don't care for the lyrics - 4/5 12. COME AND DANZ - Similar to #1 but with a slightly different sound, this song is another infectious party jam that is bound to slap your behind onto the dancefloor. I think Debelah can compete with Janet Jackson at turning otherwise forgettable upbeat songs into dance anthems - 5/5 13. ALRIGHT - This song is a pretty mid-tempo ballad, I guess, but I'm not really into religious music, so it's my least favorite song on the record. Skip this one if you're not into Christian music, like me - 3/5 14. FALL IN LOVE AGAIN - I'm glad they included this bonus track on the album because it's my favorite song besides #7. Another mid-tempo smash that probably would have made a very successful single - 5/5
