i was looking for commercial dance music and thats what this cd has but most of these tracks are awful...i do like the "Milkshake" remix and Lasgo's "Alone".

Monica remix... sick... Gia song... insane: just like the loui devito track, Sanctuary and plastic dreams are also both sick and number 13 too... This cd is for people who go to the clubs in the city Especially NY... all these songs we spun at Webster Hall, Avalon, Club Hell (Exit) and the Roxy if anyone lives in NYC...Its all about Progressive house.

My first Dance Mix NYC CD. Too much vocals on this album for me. Track 14 is unbelievable though. This is the only track I listen to. HOTT. I like all the NYC Underground Party albums, especially vol.2 & vol.3. The blends in Dance Mix NYC 5 are nice and clean for my tastes. BTW, the Greek Song (Gia) was not good in this album, there was very little bass and mostly annoying music that "colored" the songs Greek theme, i was expecting repititions of that famous Gia rythm, but it was hard to make it out, i'm sure Louie Devito would do or has done a better job with
this song.
