Wendy Hilton is a specialist of three decades experience in baroque dance as dancer, teacher, choreographer, researcher, and writer. She is currently consultant in baroque dance for Julliard's Music Divison and Department of Vocal Arts. She teaches and directs a summer workshop in baroque music and dance for the Music Department at Standford Universy, and has fulfilled many teaching and performing engagements in the United States and abroad. Dance And Music Of Court And Theater consists of two parts, the first being a facsimile of the masterwork Dance of Court & Theater: The French Noble Style 1690-1725, and the second part consists of updated and expanded versions of two articles originally publisheed in the English journal , Early Music, and a ballroom dance a deux in Beauchamp-Feuillet notation, as well as a comprehensive updated bibliography.
