fyp may not be my favorite band, but this is what i consider to be the best album of all time. we'll see how my tastes last in the years to come. from the first yell to the last drum crash, this is the most energetic album i have ever heard. play this at high volume and it will blow you away. seroiusly. i highly suggest you play the sound files to see for yourself. this has the original dance my dunce lp plus selected songs from the idiocy 101 ep. the sound production is dirty and raw and very very effective. the lyrics are absolutely brilliant - he plays with words, making himself sound juvenile without being stupid. it's hard to be descripitive on an album that is so based on passion and driven energy. basically, this is aggressive punk rock that has pop-punk tendencies and a great sense of humor. i would not label this as hardcore, although the first time i heard fyp i thought it was close to metal. it's very aggressive, but different and incredible. trust me, just listen to the songs. and give the other albums a try too, they are great.

This is the punkest, sloppiest, loveliest album I've heard all decade; full of beauty, anguish, and juvenile brilliance. If you think that punk is dead, fyp screams otherwise. I can't express the elation I feel everytime i listen to it.

I have 5 words for you. The BEST Album Of All Time. If you like any punk rock at all, buy this album. You will love it. If you don't...well then you probably don't like punk rock. Buy it Schmucko, or forever hold your peace.

F.Y.P.'s Dance My Dunce album is pretty much one of, if not the, best rock records of all time. Sloppy yet magnificently orchestrated songs that unify and tie together elements from nearly every form of fast rebellious rock ever. Angsty, emotional and psuedoanthemic lyrics and songwriting speak to the juvenile, petty, angry kid and those related experiences in the listener, expressing witty commentary through the lens of self-concern and autonomy of a bratty child or unsure adolescent.
The delivery too is perfect, with the intentionally off-key, nasal screeching, whining, rasping and occasionally screaming from Todd Congelliere. Matched perfectly with the buzzing, fuzzy guitar and the crunchy straight ahead bassline (to say nothing of the extraordinary drum bashing), this record is essentially the epitome of punk rock, and all other records should be judged by its standard.

Ever since the first time I heard this I have loved it. I actually bought this at a store without knowing anything about this band,It just caught my eye and I went for it. This album has had a huge impact on my life,more than I could ever explain. You either love it or hate it though, many of my friends hate it but if you love it,You know exactly what I mean!

F.Y.P is my favorite punk band. This is there best album. They have a fast good sound that just makes you want to snap. They are wonderful live too. If you feel like getting crazy listen to these guys. They will make you get wild and violent.
