5.0 out of 5 stars Another Masterful Recap of The Years Best..., December 25, 2000

This review is from: Dance Party: Like It's 2001 (Audio CD)
Every year, dance music fans know they can look to Robbins Ent. to put out a great compiliation, like no other. This CD marks the fourth year in a row for the "Dance Party (like its...)" series, and It is one of the best compiliations yet. If you want all of the years hottest club tracks, on one outrageous disc, then pick this up. Even if you've never heard of half the tracks on here, I garuntee you will like it. It has every dance track that radio stations have been playing and that the clubs have been banging. The mixing isnt that great, but the awesome selection of tracks definitely mkes up for it. 62 minutes of non stop beats! Good job, Robbins!

5.0 out of 5 stars An Awesome CD!, April 24, 2001
This review is from: Dance Party: Like It's 2001 (Audio CD)
I have a weakness for dance party CDs and dance mixes, and I buy a lot of them. This is one of the best I own! The only tracks that will be familiar to most people looking at this CD are the mainstream hits The Launch and Amber's mega smash Sexual. However, if you listen to dance radio stations most of these songs should be immediately familiar. Kernkraft 400's eerie hit Zombie Nation, which includes several chanting voices as vocals is the first song. Darude's instrumental song Sandstorm is as close to perfect as you can get. La Rissa performs one of the best takes on bisexuality since Janet Jackson's Free Xone with I Do Both Jay and Jane. Gillette's song Sex Tonight is both immature and unbelievably catchy at the same time. The songs by Cynthia and Rockell are great as well. If you like house music and some freestyle/dance pop, this is a fantastic CD. If you mainly listen to mainstream stations, I still suggest you test listen to this CD because it gives so many talented artists the exposure they need.

GREAT energy, non stop, and the songs are ALL PROVEN HITS!

You can't go wrong! Darude is my personal favorite for Dance artist of the year (2000), and Kernkraft 400 is getting airtime in stadiums... Do you need me to go on? Personal Rating: It's the BOMB DIGGITY! (highest rating)
