Anyone hoping to find out what happened to the "real" Princess Mina during her captivity by Lord Rozenmann will have to wait until the next volume. In this volume, the story focuses on the "fake" Mina and the growing recognition by Akira and others that the she is not who they thought she was. We know nothing about the fate of the real Mina. As with previous volumes, the action moves quickly. We are also given some back-story about how Yuki came to love Akira and why she is willing to side with him and the real Mina against the fake one. As usual, the artwork is very good and the political intrigue is still somewhat obscure. For example, Alphonse Borgiani seems to know that the current Mina is a fake, but is willing to support her takeover of the vampire throne due to some promise made in the past. We are not told what the promise was or given any details about Borgiani's seeming betrayal. Hopefully, some of these plot arches will be explained before the series ends. Once Akira begins to work against the fake Mina, all of the Bund's residents are ordered to capture him. I particularly like how Mina's subjects followed her orders, but not mindlessly, and how they rebelled against her, without seeming to do so. One bit of advice, if you have not read the side story, Dive in the Vampire Bund, then you might want to before reading this volume. A character from that story plays a key role in this one. Grade: A, highly recommended.

I first started by watching Season 1 on Netflix...been hooked since then. I wish they'd do a Season 2...it would definitely be worth it. It ended with a major cliff hanger, but at least I have the books now! Good buy!!

I liked how the pages don't bleed ink onto your fingers like cheaply made manga does. I'm happy with my purchase and will purchase more volumes.

The book still maintained it's great art and it came in great condition. But yet it still lacked something for me until near the middle to end. I don't really know what it could be. I'm guessing it's because they showed more Of the so called "Mina" than the one we know and love and made me feel pity for Yuuki that she couldn't have Akira(and I am a die hard MinaxAkira fan) which made feel like crap. But I did like several of the twists that came after. So I'd still recommend it but it's not the best book of the series for me.

This series in general is amazing. I can read an entire series in a day but I want this one to last. Every time I pick up a new book I never want it to end.

This book is great because of all the twists. Even though it's semi-predictable, you don't completely figure it out until everything gets revealed.

This book was really a bit of a back story but nonetheless it was AMAZiNG! I mean...the author of this story had everything thought out. I absolutely love this book and would totally read it over again.
