every episode is tops, view in any order, supreme murder mystery

Not "season 10"
Midsomer murders is a wonderful series and gets 5 stars. Video on Demand gets only three stars because this Set 13 and 14 of the series. The only clue, which I failed to notice until after purchase, was the small tag in the upper left corner of the picture. Here's hoping you do not make the same mistake in trying to complete the collection with a digital vs. hard copy...

Midsomer murders is a wonderful series and gets 5 stars. Video on Demand gets only three stars because this Set 13 and 14 of the series. The only clue, which I failed to notice until after purchase, was the small tag in the upper left corner of the picture. Here's hoping you do not make the same mistake in trying to complete the collection with a digital vs. hard copy. Set 6 on VOD is correct.

Television's most murderous county is Midsomer, England, and the show has been solving multiple murders in episodes for over a decade. John Nettles, Midsomer's DCI Tom Barnaby, is the cop leading the investigation team. Expect some smiles (& LOL), a touch of romance, some awesome scenic footage of beautiful village life in England, of course crime mystery, some blood-but not too much, and a sensational support cast with always the sub-plots through relationships. If you are new to Midsomer Murders, they are based on books by Caroline Graham. And many leading British guest stars, as huge stars beg to be on an episode to kill or be killed.
I have never watched a less-than GREAT episode of Midsomer Murders. +++See my detailed reviews on the DVD listings. True, the DVD sets do not align number-wise with the season numbers. More DVD sets than seasons, so make sure you read DVD reviews to get the content. It's easy to duplicate if you are buying two different forms, DVD & PIV. |
