Classic belly dance,

Amaya has brought together the favorites of many belly dancers in one CD...not only are these songs familiar to all of us, but they are well arranged and perfect for the beginning dancer to the professional. As a teacher, this is a must have for rhythms and to familiarize the students with all aspects of this art...techno, moorish, rhythms and what a full show of dance and music is. It is organized and well thought out. Often I get a CD and can utilize only a few songs...each one of these has a place in dance class or performance.

Music, like artowrk, appeals to each individual in a different way, so while one person may like something, an another may not. That said, I thought the album was great! It offered a variety of styles in keeping with a traditional touch. It's great background music for my classes and offers a section with a techno flair to it, that appeals to the students who prefer a more modern sound. I can use the music for performance or studio studies. All around great album to own and I find the music fun to dance to!

This is an excellent Cd to just listen to or to dance to. It has some well known classics as well as fusion and arabic/flamenco mixes. I originally only wanted the CD for one track but now have a great selection of really good music. Eighteen tracks split into four different sections. Well worth the money. Quality music.
