I'm the composer of the "Four Tableaus" on this CD, and I have to say that the rich, beautiful tone that these performers achieve is remarkable. They did a great job with the entire CD, which is not only exquisitely recorded and performed, but also impeccably edited.

This is one of the best flute and guitar CDs to be released in a long time. The rich supporting sound of Ghezzi's guitar is a perfect complement to Baxter's beautiful tone. Their wonderful phrasing is carefully considered and yet feels spontaneous. The refreshing variety of material makes this an excellent choice for anyone's music library. Particularly noteworthy are the exquisite Four Episodes by Franco Margola and the beautiful transcriptions of the Three Faure Songs.
