5.0 out of 5 stars The Title Says It Well, January 18, 2008
This review is from: Dances with Light (Hardcover)
I received this fine book as a Christmas gift.In "Dances With Light", photographer Darwin Wiggett shows skill and artistry in portraying the Canadian Rockies in many changing moods of light and reflection. As well as the grand landscape, Wiggett has an eye for the small detail, catching things that many would walk by without noticing. Great work here! The production values of the book are very high and Altitude Publishing is to be commended for presenting Wiggett's work in fine fashion. Highly recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars expected more, April 3, 2010

I am a big fan of Wiggett's work. I regularly check his website for new photos and I love his etheral style with flowing grasses and the feel that the light is moving. None of those photos are in this book. The shots in this book are nice but none of them moved me like most of his other work does. I couldn't wait for this book to be delivered and I was a little dissapointed when I opened it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Kind disappointed, October 1, 2009

I'm very much into nature photography. I ordered this book with a lot of expectation. After receiving and opened it up, I'm kind disappointed. The images are just fine. But they are far from great. I don't think these are the best works from Wiggett. Some of his recent articles on photography magazine have better images.

I have returned the book.
