Dancin' With Hanson Satisfies Like No Other!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Dancin' with Hanson (Paperback)
Having been a fan of Hanson for over two years, I'd read all the books on them and for the most part, came away feeling pretty empty. Most of them consisted mainly of excerpts from teen magazines. Even "Hanson, The Official Book" left me feeling less than satisfied for, although the book was sanctioned by Hanson themselves, I felt the author was afraid to give too much away. So when I learned that Ravi, the guitarist who toured with Hanson for a year, had written a book on the band, I raced down to the mall to check it out. For once, I was not disappointed! Written in journal-entry style, Ravi makes you feel as though you are on the road with Hanson. Stories of carrying 11-year old Zac on his back, of Taylor generously running off the stage to fetch him a bottle of water, and of discussing the perils of frizzy hair with Isaac make you feel as if you know the guys. "Dancin' With Hanson" is full of facts that the teen magazines don't know, and that the authors officially appointed by Hanson may be hesitant to share. Ravi takes you from the Hanson's hotel room, to the tour bus, and out onto the stage in a way no one else can or will. Though obviously a good friend of the Hanson family, Ravi tells the truth without sugar-coating, when he writes of Isaac's moodiness, Taylor's occasional forgetfulness, and Zac's understandable fear of the mob scenes. Not to mention the family's tendency to show up four hours late for rehearsals! Yet we come away from the book assured that Hanson does indeed care about their fans. For anyone whose appetite for Hanson info has not yet been fulfilled, this book is a must read! Order your copy now!

A real look at the lives of Isaac, Tay and Zac,
By A Customer
This review is from: Dancin' with Hanson (Paperback)
I have every attainable Hanson book known to man and this is my favorite. It gives you a real, in-depth look at the lives of the Hansons and really shows their personality. It also includes subtle information about their family and other business related friends. Because Ravi was their backup guitarist we know that this info is true unlike the majority of other hanson books. While reading the others i frequently come across "facts" that are simply not true and i've heard from the Hansons' own mouths the exact opposite. This is the best Hanson book out there. I would suggest this book to anyone, even non teenie boppers because it shows an inside look to celebrities lives and shows us what its really like behind the scenes. BUY THIS BOOK!!!

Hey, Ravi did a good job doing this book, I just wish he would have consulted with us first. Like we always say, to all the fans, if it doesn't have the Hanson logo, it's not official. Peace, love and BANANAS

AAAAHHHHH!!!!! This is SUCH a cool book!!I totally love Ravi now.Not as much as Hanson, though.Itz very cool.Ravi explains the truth in his point of view, but you feel like you're there watching over Hanson instead of him.I almost cried near the beginning when he said the back up keyboardist passed out copies of papers that said all of his problems with the band!Isn't that MEAN?I mean, they've been doing it their way all their lives and then the back up keyboarder goes and does something like that?I'm happy he got replaced though.I also realized,by reading this book, how much Taylor is like me!!!!Not in looks or anything, but emotionally.Anywho,go out and get the book!It totaylly rules any bio you'll ever read!!!!!!

A MUST-READ for all Hanson fans!,
By A Customer

I was so impressed with this book. It's nothing like any other Hanson biography. So many fans think they know the band so well, but once you read this, you truly don't. This shows them when they are not in the spotlight telling real true-life stories. This book is SO worth while for every fan-obsessed or not. Ravi did an excellent job, and I praise him for that. Good luck to him in his career! And to Hanson too!

Spiteful much Ravi?,
By "itzbishy" (Glen Burnie, MD) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dancin' with Hanson (Paperback)
This book was strictly created for the financial benefit of Ravi because he didn't get to stay their guitarist. He cashed in on Hanson's fame and if he was REALLY such a wonderful friend of Hanson's then he would have never done such a thing. This book contains photos that I myself found to be an invasion of Hanson's personal lives and I didn't find that cool AT ALL. I suggest not buying this book.
