This review is from: Dancing in Cornmeal: Life with Autism (Paperback)
"Dancing in Cornmeal: Life with Autism" is worthwhile reading whether or not a person with autism is a part of your life. The author has a lot of practical knowlegde through self-education and real life experiences and is able to share this information in layman's terms for anyone to relate to and learn from. If someone in your family or someone you know has autism, the author's perspectives help cope and understand many aspects of the disease. For those not having direct or indirect associations with persons suffering from autism, the book helps provide a good understanding of the disease and all that is involved in dealing with the issues arising from autism. The book is also very inspirational and renews the importants of spiritual needs within all of us. "Dancing in Cornmeal" will make you laugh and cry, but most of all, it will help you count your blessings, regardless of your situation. |
