Every year I look forward to my birthday, which is in the fall, and about the same time IHOP starts serving up Pumpkin Pancakes, with hot syrup, and whipped cream topping!!!!!! OH I live for these!!! I had seen the Dancing Deer Pancake/Waffle Mix on Amazon but was sold out at the time, went back later and now they have it! I made my first batch recently, and the smell was mouth watering all through the house.. the texture was really nice, the flavor was amazing. They also reheated VERY well the next morning. These are 10 times better than IHOP, and I don't have to wait all year for them to come up! I love, LOVE these!

I just made these for the first time for Christmas morning and they were incredible! You combine the mix with egg,melted butter and milk (I used skim). Very yummy and delicately spiced. Not too pumpkin-y...just right. Careful though cause each serving is 290 calories and that is of course without any toppings,syrup etc.

Our family loves this mix. We often mix a batch of this and a batch of regular buttermilk pancake mix. It still has plenty of pumpkin flavor (not over powering) and makes the can last longer. The pancakes mix up a little thick if you follow the recipe so you might need to add a little extra milk. Yum!

These pumpkin pancakes are excellent. I got an extra order to use as holiday hostess gifts.

I was super disappointed with these pancakes and I'm a bit shocked by the reviews. Trader Joes has a pumpkin pancake mix that is seasonal and so delightful. this one has a weak pumpkin taste and was difficult to prepare - burns easily as pancakes and requires a lot more milk than what the recipe calls for. try another mix!

I rec'd a can of thiS pumpkin spice waffle/pancake mix and looked every where but finally found it on Amazon. I love it and so enjoy it during the fall and winter season but it's so good all year long. It's on the high side $ but it's so worth, EVERY penny! LOVE IT!!!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.....

We ordered a case of Dancing deer pumpkin pancake for the first time a few months ago and we love them. I wish they would put them on subscribe and save. After we finish our three cans of dancing deer we tried the pumpkin pancake on amazon that was on subscribe and save and they weren't good. The other one seemed like it was a better deal since it came with 6 boxes of pumpkin pancake mix but it wasn't. You have to use a whole box to make one batch and it burned easy. So if you want a good, fluffy, tasty pumpkin pancake "Dancing Deer" product is your best choice.

I recommend the Dancing Deer Pumpkin Spice mix. I purchased 12 cans to make holiday gift baskest for friends and family this Christmas along with maple syrup. I saved one for our family to try. We loved it! Not too strong a flavor, just right. My six year old loves the pumpkin pancakes. We will definitely incorporate into our holiday traditions for Thanksgiving and Christmas breakfasts (of course they are great year round as well).

I was going to make these as waffles when my waffle iron broke and I had to make them as pancakes. The flavor was good, but it was mostly just the spice flavor and the pumpkin flavor was missing. I was disappointed. I have a recipe for pumpkin waffles that are much better than this mix. I was just hoping to use the mix for convenience, but I will be sticking to the recipe from now on.

If there is one flaw with this product, it is that the included recipe makes a batter that is entirely too thick. Other than that, this is about as good a product as you can get with a mix... bar none. The flavor, aroma and texture of these pancakes/waffles just simply can't be beat (assuming you like pumpkin spice of course).
