In Dancing With the Enemy, Letting the Good out Weigh the Bad, Meg Brown has managed to produce a surprisingly upbeat book about a very depressing topic. Presented in a journal format, the story manages to be both entertaining and informative. It describes the journey of a cancer survivor from the onset of symptoms, through treatment and eventual recovery. She provides a wealth of information regarding the treatment of cancer and the effects of the disease and the treatment at a personal level. Highly recommended reading for cancer patients, their family or anyone who enjoys a story of one person's courageous struggle with, and triumph over, a killer disease.
