More About the Author

Lili Dauphin is an American-Caribbean author. Many contend that she will be quoted for many years to come. Her unique ability to vividly paint the Caribbean is unique and intoxicating and makes her readers feel as if they are there. Not only are her stories a delight to read, they also have a special way of connecting to a person's heart thus inspiring readers of every age.

Her series, Crying Mountain, chronicles the life of Tilou, a young girl who lives in a village named Tiville. Through Tilou's eyes, Lili transports the readers to a world they wouldn't have otherwise known existed. The series depicts a young girl's journey through a devastating hurricane. This coming of age story illustrates how the human will can persevere against the greatest of odds. It is based on Lili's own diary kept when she was 8 years old.

Lili Dauphin has also written many other books including I Will Touch the Sun, for which she received the Irwin Award for best Inspirational campaign.

All of Lili's works are available in bookstores and online.

5.0 out of 5 stars A kaleidescope of inspiration, April 27, 2008

This review is from: The Dancing Flowers (Paperback)
Page after page of delightful flowers, soothing scenery, and empowering poems from Ms. Dauphin make this a special volume. Dauphin has captured a hundred impressionistic images of wildflowers in bloom, sunlight filtered through the leaves, and accompanied each with a short verse about life, such as "There's Always a Way Out" and "Listen to the Little Voice." Flipping through it is like coming home to a beautiful and gentle place of understanding and love. It's a wonderful keepsake -- I'm buying a few copies to give away as gifts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable Reading, May 19, 2008
This review is from: The Dancing Flowers (Paperback)
Like other books by this author this book offers a peace. It's something you can read in parts or in entirety. Quite a variety of flowers and garden photos. Makes a great gift.
