5.0 out of 5 stars DANCING WITH ICE, January 23, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Dancing With Ice (Paperback)
This book is an incredible journey. I truly enjoyed the action and suspense as well as the humor and sensitivity. I understood police work in a way I never did before and I experienced human drama through the heart of the main character, Michael Callahan. When's the next book, Mr. Edwards?

This book wants to be read non-stop; with gripping episodes mixed with contemplative description, it holds your attention continuously. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

5.0 out of 5 stars AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ, January 12, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Dancing With Ice (Paperback)
THIS IS THE KIND OF BOOK YOU CANNOT PUT DOWN!! From the very first page to the very last, you will be engulfed in the story. The author's protagonist, Michael Callahan, is the kind of man every woman wants to know. He is strong and courageous, yet not afraid to explore his feelings. He interacts with the other characters in this book with authority and power, yet uses his wit and humor to portray kindness and understanding.
Michael Callahan is a cop, but this is not just a cop story. What you get is an insiders look at his life and how he manages to stay alive (almost) through some of the hardest situations anyone could possibly face. Along his journey, he manages to help others confront their own deamons, which ultimately helps him face his own.
This is a story of survival; of hope and healing. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, you will grip the book with sweaty hands and beg for a moment to catch your breath. And in the end, you will beg for more.
