Genealogy thriller from a master!,
By Rob Weiner (Santa Fe, NM) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Dancing Men (Hardcover)
Duncan Kyle was the world's best thriller author in my opinion. He writes fast paced plots about characters you really feel for in exotic locations. What more can you ask for? 'The Dancing Men' is about a Democratic Presidential candidate -- John Leyden -- who decides to have a member of his staff research into his Irish grandfather, hoping to gain the Irish population's vote. Also, should the researcher find any skeletons in his family closet Leyden can be told before the press finds out. Anyhow, the researcher discovers John's grandpa wasn't a very good guy at all. A Genealogist is hired, and soon finds his life in danger. 'The Dancing Men' is a top rate thriller with everything to love. It isn't Kyle's best, but to be Kyle's best a book has to be quite good.
