Book Description

February 1, 1997
The Dancing with Miriam Haggadah is a groundbreaking work of creativity and spirituality, yet strongly connected to the tradition. The Dancing with Miriam Haggadah contains original prayers, commentary, poetry, music and art. The traditional Passover symbols appear, but they are experienced and interpreted with a feminist understanding of life, history and the earth.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"This is an exciting addition to a growing body of women's liturgy for special occasions. Attention is paid to explaining why a women's ritual, what is different about it, the nuances of language, the validation of women's life experiences, and the empowerment of women to create their own sacred space. I am proud to recommend it." -- Marcia Cohn Spiegel, Jewish feminist author
