4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent read.
I found this to be a beautiful love story as well as an emotional mystery. It is a very relaxing yet a very mysterious read. I would recommend this book to mystery readers as well as love story readers.

versus
3.0 out of 5 stars The formatting for Kindle not very good
The story was not bad. The hero is Hispanic which is unusual in the romance genre. But the ebook version has numerous formatting errors and misspelled words. If that bothers you then be forewarned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another winner!, September 24, 2011

Although the reviews were not as good as for Winter Ballad, I purchased this book based on a hunch about the author. I was not disappointed. Although the book itself had a lot of typos in it, the plot was swift, the action non-stop and the romance truly satisfying.
I enjoyed seeing Tess Fallon's character evolve from a browbeaten, down-trodden wife to a courageous, determined woman. Her evolution is due in part to the love of another, bigger-than-life hero, Joaquin Morales, half Cheyenne, half Mexican. Seamus McKenzie as the villain works in concert with frightening circumstances to tear the lovers apart and bring about their downfall.
I am a voracious reader covering many different genres. Romance is a recent, late-in-life addiction. This author knows how to spin a tale and "Dancing Moon" has become one of my favorites in this genre. My catalogue of favorites are books that I will not only recommend to others, but will read again. I'm an English teacher and that's one of the pleasures of my job.
I have a list of ten authors who, after reading at least five of their works, I believe will never let me down. I suspect Barbara Samuel will soon be on that list.

As I do sometimes, I found myself just browsing thru titles on here looking for some new books to purchase when I came upon Barbara Samuel's 'Dancing Moon'. For the price of a used book and being a N/A romance junkie,(which I love) I thought i'd give it a try. Little did I realize what a nice story this would be. It has all the elements that you'd want in a romantic adventure and made the characters and landscapes seem so beautiful, I could actually see them in my minds eye. I found myself smiling and not wanting Joaquin and Tess's story to end. Bravo, I have found another favorite author.
