Book Description

April 1, 1999
In her first books, Behaving as if the God in ALl Life Mattered, Machaelle Small Wright wrote:

"If we allowed all the knowledge from our soul level to fully flow and be totally accessible to our concious self . . . before we disciplined ourselves on how to respond to such as flow on the physcial level, we would shatter. Blindly expressing limitless through limitation would be more pressure than our body could bear."

In Behaving, Machaelle scratched the surface on a whole new reality. Now, in Dancing, she opens the door and invites us in.

Out to discredit the "ozzie and Harriet" School of Spirituality, Machaelle gives us extensive groundwork, supported by an actual account of her own expansion experience. She tells of her introduction to the White Brotherhood--that evolved group of souls who assist humans in their evolutionary development--in a story told through journal entries for those early years of her nature work. Reading Dancing, you feel like a bird on Machaelle's shoulder . . . watching the expansion unfold.

5.0 out of 5 stars Never mind sci-fi - this is the real thing!, August 31, 1999

This review is from: Dancing in the Shadows of the Moon (Hardcover)
If you have ever wondered what life is really all about, this book will move you through your ring-pass-not (the limiting edge of your reality). It's true, what she says about integrating the fantastic into the mundane in your life, and that all the things you do in your mundane life lay the groundwork/foundation for all the fantastic coming in and expanding your reality. When I first bought this book, I wasn't ready to read it, so gave it to the local library.. now I went out and got it again... wow... for all you folks who meditate, who do all sorts of stuff to create your own reality, who would love help with making your dreams come true, here is the missing link..I tell ya, once you get into MSW's work, the magic of co-creating with Nature comes alive in your life. This stuff works.. and this book, crazy reading as it may seem at times, is full of aha's that I have long suspected to be true and it's so wonderful to have them validated by someone just as crazy as me. Maybe we are the new norm. Take a chance, read this book, and check out her other one too (Behaving as if the god in all life mattered..also MAP for health) that one may be easier to start....Go for it, go for the chance and the instructions on how to change your life for the better.. and hang onto your hat! You are in for the ride of your life!

5.0 out of 5 stars TEN STARS!!!!--Fabulous interdimensional roadmap., June 28, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Dancing in the Shadows of the Moon (Hardcover)
"Dancing" is one of the important books that I call "bibles," in that it instructs, illuminates, & provokes endless inner exploration. It sets a flexible, open ended template and validates in a completely unique way, questions about evolution of consciousness and the integration of this experience with "ordinary reality". It is provcative, awesome and a great read that one can enjoy on several levels. MSW, in all her work, is completely authentic, original, without any of the trite tripe and formulaic garbage that abounds in much of the "cutting edge" literature. She truly IS a co-creative scientist (see that book of hers) and demonstrates with grounded, usable instruction how to move forward (expand) in your life in a way that is truly evolutionary and revolutionary, as well as functionable and usable. She also has a great sense of humor and a perspective on herself and life that keeps the work from becoming precious, elitist, or downright obnoxious. For those either curious about multidimensional existence or in need of input about possibilities, or are shaking from lack of validation or context,"Dancing" is a must.

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the most challenging book you'll ever love, August 15, 2000
By
This review is from: Dancing in the Shadows of the Moon (Hardcover)
In the past 6 years, I have worked my way through every one of MSW's books and papers, rereading often. I am currently on my 4th read of "Dancing...", still stopping to think and assimilate things that never sunk in before. While I wholeheartedly recommend this book, I also suggest the reader not make it their first read of MSW's work (or even their second), for this is about the most heady stuff you're likely to read, shy of quantum physics (and I've read both). An excellent precursor would be her first book "Behaving...". Once you are up to the challenge, and fortune has brought this author or this book to your door, you are in for a fantastic journey. An accomplished writer and reader, MSW writes with enourmous sympathy for the minds and hearts of people trying to assimilate new information. She recommends stopping when you feel too full, and in an emergency resorting to chocolate. MSW makes the journey fun, funny, warm and entirely worthwhile. My advise to the reader, if you get lost in the first few sections, is to do your best and work your way through to the story. Through her own life's experiences, MSW uses utter simplicity in communicating a massive experience, by breaking it up into it's little daily lessons, the same way she got it. This work is often playful and makes fun of itself. But, make no mistake! There is no apology herein. MSW takes off in this work, dancing with the reader through realms that simply don't fit into existing logical frameworks, and she never looks back. Neither did I. I am proud to admit that I, too, am now happily "Dancing in the Shadows of the Moon".
