1.0 out of 5 stars THE BOOK NEVER CAME
I am very dissapointed. The book never arrived. This has damaged my relationship with amazon.com and will make it harder for me to trust the reliability of ordering books online. I'm wondering what can be done to rectify this situation or if my money was just wasted?

5.0 out of 5 stars DON'T WAIT, BUY THIS, IT IS WHAT YOU NEED FOR ANOINTED DANCE, September 6, 2004

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dancing into the Anointing (Paperback)
This book is just perfect for those of us who are first stepping out into liturgical dance. If you feel unsure in anyway, put your mind and heart at ease and see within these golden pages that you were made to dance for God. You only need to be full of the Holy Spirit and close to His heart. He will help you increase your dance vocabulary as you prepare not only your body for dance, but your spirit and your heart. I highly recommend this especially for any church where a dance ministry is beginning but also for the lone church dancer, or worshipper who wants to use movement to express what words can not. Every pastor must read this book as we transition back to our roots in worship, as King David Danced before the Lord. This book is Real, and right now, and YOU NEED TO HAVE IT! I gurantee you that you will cherish it as i do. blessings, grace

5.0 out of 5 stars WORSHIP IN IT'S FULLEST, May 11, 2000
This review is from: Dancing into the Anointing (Paperback)
DANCING INTO THE ANOINTING HAS BECOME A TEACHING BOOK ON CHRISTIAN DANCE IN THE CHURCH. I HAVE READ TWO OTHER CHRISTIAN DANCE BOOKS AND PREFER DANCING INTO THE ANOINTING THE MOST. GOD WANTS HIS PEOPLE TO BE FULL OF JOY AND DANCE SPINS US IN HIS ARMS OF LOVE. AIMEE OPENS UP A SENSITIVE TOPIC IN THE RELIGIOUS CHURCH WITH SOUND BIBLICAL TEACHING. THOSE WHO ARE SEARCHING AND OPEN TO LEARN WILL READ THIS BOOK QUICKLY. DAVID'S OLD TESTAMENT TABERNACLE WAS A PLACE OF SINGING AND DANCING. HE WAS A TRUE WORSHIPPER AFTER THE HEART OF GOD. FREEDOM IN MANY AREAS OF MY LIFE HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCED SINCE I PUT THIS TEACHING INTO ACTION.

5.0 out of 5 stars Learn the purposes of dance in the Last Day Church., October 5, 1999
This review is from: Dancing into the Anointing (Paperback)
Dance and the other creative arts are powerful weapons of spiritual warfare. Many of the different types of dances are explained and how to flow with the leadership and worship team. The church age is an age of grace and in grace we breakforth in expressive passion for the Father. King David was instrumental to establish outward expression in the Tabernacle. Learn from Aimee's experience how to start a dance team. Releasing the annointing that God has placed within you through the obedience of God's promptings of Worship.

5.0 out of 5 stars Aimee we await your videos the book was great!, January 3, 2003

Aimee has captured the essence of worship through "The Dance" in such a way as to lead us into the completion of the 5 fold ministry we have been longing to finally have permission to acknowledge and express. She has effectively coverered areas of "The Dance" ( Warfare, Intercession, Prophetic, Petition, Praise, and Worship) long misunderstood and forgotten. Aimee also uses scriptural references to give insight and understanding of some biblical history of dance being part of praise and worship historically. Many will come to see how the many facets of harmonious worship remain pleasing to God to this day. The "Anointing" she speaks of dancing into often comes at the price of submission to Holy spirit, and for some worshipers, this can be accomplished through "The Dance". We are looking forward to her videos,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Basics, August 23, 2007
This review is from: Dancing into the Anointing (Paperback)
This book is an excellent book for the basics of Dance Ministry. I used it as the required text book for a course I taught at a Christian college and the students were able to glean the important elements from the book. Some books are too ethereal or too detail orientated with a heavy weight of scriptures or dates. This is really a very balanced book. Dr. Aimee was one of the giants in the modern liturgical dance movement. Even though she is no longer alive, I think she really speaks into our time. A must have for all dance ministers and those who seek to not only dance with excellence, but also to be led by the Spirit of God.

This review is from: Dancing into the Anointing (Paperback)
This was the first dance book I have ever read and our team was founded using the principles in this book. It is written in simple language and the information is organized well. The most powerful aspect of the book in my opinion is the testimony of the author. If you are new to dance or need an understanding of dance and its purpose in the church this is a good manual to get you started.
