Small and compact, works perfectly,

Previous reviewer was right, this adapter "pops" up after water is turned off, reverting to stream vs. spray. No biggie; item works perfectly, nice small compact size which we love given our sink is pretty shallow (allows large pots to fit in more easily than previous adapters). Doesn't leak at all, easily installed without any tools, in fact. Perhaps previous reviewer was missing a washer or something.

I've tried the E*ro*et product several times and they all broke quickly (except for the white one which I have in my bathroom - that one is great and I don't know why they discontinued that design it is much better than the black). So I decided to try this one, which is perfect if you, like me, have a shallow kitchen sink and/or don't need a double jointed aerator. I like the fact it automatically reverts back to stream mode but understand that some people don't. This is compact, attractive, easy to install and so far has held up well. I'm glad I bought it.

love this item, couldn't live without it anymore.,

We have been using this item for awhile and wish they didn't wear out as fast as they do but in all we do get a great use out of it. We like the feature where it returns to normal flow, with spay only on command. When it wears out it sprays continuously which lets us know it's time to get a replacement.

Today I am replacing this with another one just like it. They only last about 4 years before the spray/stream function seems to wear out. I don't care, I am buying 5 today so I'll have them on hand for the rest of my life. It works extremely well, cleans up and looks beautifully understated but cool, and does not extend too far below the faucet. I recommend it highly. No leaks here!

Good for as long as it lasts,

I had no problem with leaking, unlike the reviewer below. It is true that you have to pull it down every time you want to use the spray function, but that is not a big deal for me.The problem is it didn't last. I used it for about 9-10 months and then it broke off in my hand when I went to use the spray function. If it had lasted, it would have been a good buy, but I don't feel the price reflects the low durability.

Nice looking, but has some flaws,
By CZ Tom (Middleburg Heights, Ohio United States) - See all my reviews

The pros on this sprayer are: good looking, nice compact size - doesn't detract from the look of your faucet or sink. Cons: defaults back to stream when you turn it off, I would prefer it stayed where you set it (spray or stream). That's not that big a deal. But the biggest con for me is it doesn't swivel well on spray, the automatic diaphragm is too sensitive and keeps wanting to go back to stream mode . Bottom line: looks nice but I probably will buy something else next time.

Danco has a great design in this aerator, but with several flaws. First, it leaks after turning off the faucet, no matter how tight it is. Second, you can easily pull it down to go from stream to spray; however, once you turn off the faucet, it automatically pops back into its former stream position. So every time you want it to be streamed, you have to manually make it go there every single time. Finally, there's very little room between the faucet spout and the aerator housing, which makes it difficult to install. Go with the 88270 model instead.

I like that it pops back to an aerated steam when you turn off the faucet, because if you turn it on spray at full blast, it splashes more water than the stream. Easy to install. Easy to use.

I was looking for an aerator/sprayer (a/s) for a new kitchen faucet. Many of the a/s I looked at online appeared to extend about 2 to 3 inches. The Danco a/s is well made and is compact. I don't have a problem with the sprayer automatically returning to its aerator position when the faucet is shut off as some reviewers have complained. It works well and I recommend the product.

Great swivel faucet aerator esp. if you don't have separate sprayer,

I had used one of these in my last kitchen faucet, but couldn't find a replacement locally when I moved. Didn't leak then (2+ years). Harder water may erode the parts more quickly. Installed this one in new kitchen. No issues to date (couple months). We like this swivel aerator for 2 reasons: 1) It's more shallow than other swivel aerators (closer to the faucet head, allowing more clearance to fill tall pots), and 2) it reverts to the default stream position when you turn off the faucet. (Deliberate design--but I can see how it's not for everyone.) This aerator is an acceptable alternative to installing a separate sprayer (which we can't because of the faucet type).
