It's not that slow,
This review is from: Dane-Elec 16 GB Class 2 microSDHC Flash Memory Card with SD Adapter DA-2IN1-16G-R (Personal Computers)
Don't expect lightening write speeds with this budget card.
Using my SanDisk Imagemate 5in1 reader, the speed of this card fluctuates. For a 2.35GB file (using Teracopy for speed testing)... write file completed in 8:34.528, 4.3 MB/s read file completed in 2:17.186, 16 MB/s So in conclusion, it's incredibly slow for writing. It would be best if you were writing small files like mp3s. However, it's incredibly fast for reading. You would not have a problem playing hidef material off this card, but getting it on there is another issue. As for the build quality, I cannot comment. I just received the card this morning.

It's a class 2 card. For the total price of $38 from JR, it's the cheapest currently. However, the transfer rate is quick comparable to my Transcend class 6 for short mega bytes file.
I use it to save home movies to be viewed on my Nintendo DS Lite, and it works satisfactory. I can also use it on my Canon camera with the provided adapter. If not for the misleading photo of class 4 , I will give it a 5.

I have only had this for less than a week, but I am happy so far. I loaded it up with over 13GB of music and movies for my Treo Pro phone. It took a while to copy everything over, but I notice no delay while using it on my phone. Best 16GB MicroSDHC card for the price on the market today.

I bought this for my Blackberry Bold 9700. It works perfectly, although sometimes it seems to run a little slow. Considering it is a class 2 memory card and the price, it is a great value for the money. Would buy again.

No problems with this card in my NexusOne. It's only a class2 card, but that's what comes with the NexusOne to begin with. There doesn't seem to be any speed difference between this and the card that ships with the phone. Good value for the money.

I wasn't sure it would work in my Blackberry Bold 9000 because the literature that came with the Blackberry did not indicate if you could use a High Capacity (HC) micro SD card or not but it works just fine. I recommend using the adapter and plugging into a card reader to load files rather than trying to use the Blackberry Desktop Manager.

Pros
-Cheap -16gb -Works Cons -not really 16gb...even assuming a 1000mb GB, it should be 15.6GB. Windows shows it to only be: 14.9GB. -pretty slow. I'm using it in a Sansa Fuze, it plays music just fine, but when transferring and 'refreshing media' the speeds leave some to be desired.

When my Droid X SD card died I went to Verizon and bought the Universal Pack which contained the SD card and both the slot and USB adapter. The card was compatible but the slot adapter was a bit long for my laptop slot but worked as long as I held it in place.
