Inspired by her early years being a member and soloist in her church Gospel choir, her professional music career in genres including: Rock, Metal, Pop, RnB, Reggae and her classical training on the violin, Danelle tells it like it is with her mind-blowing musical style which has listeners feeling elevated, uplifted and inspired. Roles include: Feature film About a Boy, TV shows including Second Sight with Clive Owe, appearances in TVs Bad Girls and Eastenders. Other stints include Nia Long’s body double in Alfie & Lavender’s in Harry Potter. After placing her music career on hold to focus on raising her child alone, she used her experiences including surviving a troubled childhood and relationships as motivation and inspiration when she returned to music, writing her album ‘Tortured Soul’ and setting up her own ethical record label, Tygahoney Music. She has now become a mentor and role model as a musician, activist and teacher; this outspoken ‘Ethical Diva’ is a positive example to many.
Danelle has worked with some of the biggest names in music; She has shared the bill with the likes of Amy Winehouse and Robin S, written for and worked with artists including: P.Diddy, Meatloaf, Fun Loving Criminals, The London Community Gospel Choir, Dee Heron, Alison Limerick, Angie Brown, Shaft, Bizarre Inc, and P-Funk legends George Clinton and Jerome Rodgers, and been live vocal stand-in for Canadian superstar Deborah Cox. With kudos from these artists Danelle epitomises professionalism and universal appeal, yet continues to do things her way.
Combining her passion for music and activism, her enthusiasm,boundless energy, spirit and glamorous, unique hippie-chic style Danelle has inspired many celebs and fans alike by highlighting serious issues through her addictive music and collaborations; Danelle also continues to “speak up” as an ambassador on campaigns with Shelter, Young Co-operatives, Traidcraft and London Mayor’s Make Music Matter project.
Also the voice and composer of Sony's Playstation Dance mat ad campaign and a music writer for TV, her voice is currently heard in the rock and funk music played on shows including Hollyoaks and Make me a Supermodel. Danelle continues to shine as a multi-faceted talent.
