An Engrossing Read,
By Flower Girl (MN, United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Danewood Legacy (Coventry Romance No. 188) (Mass Market Paperback)
From back of the book: "You are nineteen, Elizabeth, and I have decided it is time for you to marry." When Elizabeth's father, Sir William, told her she was to wed the village's lecherous, sin-intoxicated Vicar, she fled in the night to London. Since she was a very sheltered and innocent creature, she did not realize she had taken refuge in a brothel. Nor did she fully understand why the wealthy Lord Danewood hired her away from the Madam to be his companion. But Elizabeth was soon on her way to learning a great deal about everything. Especially Lord Danewood's most intimate thoughts...
Like the other reviewer mentioned, this book had everything... But I found the writing was the key to its success. It was smooth, get to the point, and yet still packed much emotions. All the characters were well drawn and likable, even with the villain I could find some sympathy and understanding for the character. I was truly glad that hero and heroine found each other and saved one another. I really enjoyed this book.

This is my 2nd copy of the Danewood Legacy. I really did not want to give away my first copy but I had no more room in my library. This romance novel has it all, a fake wife, a fake pregnancy, a dangerous assasin and a young woman caught in the middle of all this drama. I really enjoy Jasmine's books and wish that some of the older novels could be republished.
