Book Description

August 1, 2006
A man mistaken for a common thug, "Dawg" plots to go toe to toe with the good ol' boy network waging war against him. He learns the system and the insider details he plans to use to make things right. Underestimated, he has time to plan the perfect revenge and set the record straight about his rock-solid character once challenged in a court of law. Brazing and fearless, Michael Allen pulls no punches as he exposes the undercurrent of small town, small mind America. With humor to lighten the insanity of it all, Michael Allen goes there! Detailing the narrow mindedness of an insecure, nervous network of people struggling to hold-on to the morsels of power they have been given, Michael Allen creates quite a stir.

About the Author

Michael Allen was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1970. But, lived most of his life in and around Washington, D.C. Enlisting in the Marine Corps in 1988, he has lived a life most men have only dreamed of living. Studying English at Frostburg State University until 1999, Michael Allen started writing professionally almost immediately but has only just begun to step out of the shadows and offer us some of his greatest work. He comments often on his thoughts about society with observations so fresh and comical, you just want to read more of his work. And trust me, there will be more to come. The father of a wonderful daughter, Michael Allen often puts her in his works. She has inspired such writings as "The Lonely Daughter," "Fathers of Today," and "World Peace." But, those are only small samples of his writings. You can read other works of his at Associated Content as well as his various sites across the Internet. http://celebrityadvocatetoday.com http://entertainmentlook.com http://ashliewrote.com/blast http://adangertosociety.com/blast --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

More About the Author

Michael Allen is a writer and father who has recently published When You Miss Me, the children's book for young readers who need comforted in times when their parents go through separation or divorce. Also, children of military families can appreciate its heartwarming message when a loved one is serving their country far away from home.

Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1970, Michael Allen was shortly moved to be raised in and around the Washington, D.C. area. The son of an Army Intelligence Officer, the grass never grew under Michael Allen's feet. Having served his country himself, he has seen the world...twice. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, he has often said, "Stationed in North Carolina, I saw half the world...twice. Stationed in Japan, I saw the rest of it...twice."

He now lives in Clearwater, Florida where the grass gets a chance to finally grow under his feet. Only not much grass ever is... The sandy beaches are where you can find him now, unless he's tucked away in what he calls his "cave" working on his next piece of work.
