This review is from: The Danger Trail (Kindle Edition)
This is the second book set in northern Canada that I've read by this author. I liked Isobel: A Romance of the Northern Trail better, but this one is definitely worth reading. It's about a railroad builder who finds himself in danger after meeting a woman. The author does a good job of combining mystery, romance and action to keep the story moving and to make you curious about what will happen next. I wish he had written more about living in the cold and snow to make you feel like you're really in northern Canada. I found the ending to be a little weak, but I can't explain why without giving the ending away. Other than that it's a very good book.
