An exciting, softcore thriller... without any excitement., March 20, 2004

The plot for this softcore "thriller" can be summed up in one sentence. "A young couple on vacation takes a walk on the wild side, and end up getting more than they bargained for." So now that we all agree that we're not watching this for the plot or acting, here's what you really need to know.
There are eight sex scenes spread evenly throughout the video. Six are boy/girl. One is boy/girl/girl. One is girl/girl. All the sex scenes are good. Many of them are very, very good. All of them are carried through to completion and the sounds of the actors are audible over the background music. The women are all attractive, and there are five of them that participate in the sex scenes. Beverly Lynne has three scenes. Shauna O'Brien has four scenes. Jacy Andrews, Tiffany Mason, and some other girl have one scene each. The best scene, hands down, was the lesbian scene between Beverly and Shauna. It was just perfect.
This could have been better though. For a running time of 1:41, there really should have been one more sex scene.
Overall, this is easy to recommend.

Softcore with a Plot, September 11, 2005

The title, Dangerous Invitations describes the plot of this softcore porno movie pretty good. While on a holiday, in kind of a reverse Fatal Attraction scenario, Ethan invites Sophie, Shauna O'Brian), a buxom brunette into his and his girlfriend Sarah's (Beverly Lynne), bed for a ménage a trois, only to find out later that the invitation was open ended and allowed Sophie's strange and dangerous husband, Gary, into their lives. He claims that Ethan owes him since he went to bed with his wife, so at first he claims that he wants a roll in the sack with Sarah but later changes his demand to a pre-release copy of a hot new video game Ethan helped develop (Ethan`s a video game designer). Gary gets more and more vicious and dangerous as Ethan rebuffs him and thing start to come to a heat up in more ways than one.
This is a Playboy production so the ladies are attractive and there is sexual action galore with several sets of partners in eight separate scenes, all performed realistically. I did think that Shauna O'Brians implanted breasts were a little incredulous however. I give the story 3 stars for effort and the action 5 stars for creativity for a 4 star average.
