"One Dangerous Night" is book 2.5 in the 'Tall, Dark & Deadly' series by Lisa Renee Jones and is an introduction to "Blake" in an upcoming full length novel coming in October called "Beneath The Secrets".

I did not find much of a story-line to this novella, but more of a real teaser to Blake's story in the upcoming "Beneath The Secrets"

Although is was a real quick read, it was definitely on the 'hot' side with some suspense and intrigue thrown in.

Lisa now has me anxiously waiting for October and the full story of Blake.

I am a huge fan of the Tall, Dark & Deadly Series by Lisa Renee Jones. This novella is described as a "prelude" to the full-length novel telling Blake's story, "Beneath the Secrets" which will be released in October. This probably explains why I felt, even for a novella, like this book was missing something. Just as I got really interested in what was happening, it was over! While it was most-definitely sexy and had that bit of suspense and intrigue that Lisa Renee Jones writes so well, I didn't feel as connected to the characters as I usually do. But, I think that was intentional on Ms. Jones' part since our heroine's true identity is part of the mystery. I'm really looking forward to finding out more in October!

Very short story! I enjoyed it though! There's a lot more to find out about Blake and Tiffany! They had one steamy night that left more questions than answers. Blake and Tiffany both have tons of baggage and inner turmoil, but they aren't oblivious to their mutual attraction! One night won't be enough for sure!

Short introduction to Blake Walker, former ATF and now working with his brothers at Walker Security. His one goal is too avenge the death of his finacee by the Alvarez drug cartel.

His meets with Tiffany Snow to exchange information and the attraction between the two is combustible!

Tiffany has a few tricks up her sleeves and Blake is takin for a ride he didin't expect. He won't let that happen again!

I'm sure Tiffany will be a major player in his full story
It will make for one Hot, Steamy, Panting combusting read.

Like the previous Walker brothers, Blake is smooth as silk and sexy as hell. Knowing how to treat a woman in bed must have been bred into the Walker DNA.... I am looking forward to BENEATH THE SECRETS. As a prequel novella there is not a lot of storyline, but it was meant to tease ....and it does.
