This review is from: Dangerous Seas - Inside the U.S. Coast Guard [VHS] (VHS Tape)
The Dangerous Seas: Inside the US Coast Guard is a fascinating video of our smallest U.S. military organization. It spans the duties of drug interdiction off the Florida coast, rescuing Haitian refugees, to the training of crews for search and rescue in very rough seas over the Columbia River bar, and then of the search and rescue from the Kodiak, AK, the largest Coast Guard station. Much of the Alaska duties require air flight over land and sea for floundering ships or stranded hunters. Their duties are fascinating, dangerous and humanitarian.
