Book Description

Jerome Mayer is tall, dark and dangerous to know. Normally Gemma would run a mile, but with a freshly broken heart maybe it’s time for this good girl to take a walk on the wild side. 5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet, enjoyable novella July 26, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
I throughly enjoyed this sweet and well-written romantic novella that has a touch of suspense. It's the story of wildlife photographer and ladies' man, Jerome Mayer, and cautious Gemma who isn't sure she wants to get involved with a man who is 'dangerous to know' in more ways than one. A lovely read that would be great for beach or sofa.

4.0 out of 5 stars Greenpeace-type romantic suspense January 30, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Another great, satisfying novella by an award-winning writer, Dangerous To Know goes over the edge from contemporary sweet romance to romantic suspense. SPOILER ALERT Wildlife photographer and activist Jerome Mayer has always liked Gemma, even though he's a wild ride and she's a sweetheart working with his sister in a bridal shop. Gemma decides her life is boring and it's time for some thrills. She starts hanging out with Jerome on photo shoots just as his opposition to a real estate development in a pristine wilderness starts drawing ire from its proponents. Gemma gets her wild ride but it's not the one she'd planned, and she must decide if her growing feelings for Jerome outweigh the dangers he brings. END SPOILER ALERT

Author Nell Dixon writes a satisfying and realistic story. These are plausible events, easily pictured and imagined, and the characters are just as real. For this reason, Dangerous to Know created more tension for me than many paranormals or urban fantasies: the believability of the danger made it all the more real, although this isn't a high-tension thriller. Highly recommended.
