3.0 out of 5 stars Scottish Progressive December 28, 2005
By Dave_42
Format:Audio CD
Released in 1988, "The Dangers of Strangers" is the third album from Abel Ganz, a Scottish progressive group. I find it to be blander than their first two albums ("Gratuitous Flash" and "Gullibles Travels"). There are some nice musical passages, but nothing that really excites. In my opinion, "The Dangers of Strangers", parts I and II are the best tracks.

The group has been reduced to Hugh Carter (Bass), Hew Montgomery (keyboards), and the return of Malky McNiven (guitar). They are joined by session musician Dennis Smith (drums), and ex-members Paul Kelly (vocals), and Alan Reed (vocals).

4.0 out of 5 stars great neo prog music November 22, 2005
Format:Audio CD
Neo prog rock that features awesome keyboard work, good guitar. And, to top it off, this band frequently works with the amazing talents of Alan Reed of Pallas. Worth a listen for all prog fans.
